Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated November 8, 2026
Iris Studio respects copyright and expects Iris users to do the same.
1. Where to send a complaint
About a website made with Iris. Websites published from Iris are hosted by Iris, on Cloudflare's network under Iris's own account: send a notice about one to our designated agent under section 2. A copy someone downloaded or published elsewhere is with its own host: send your notice there (most hosts have a form for it, and the website's address tells you who it is).
About something on our own website. Send a notice to our designated agent under section 2.
2. Sending a notice of claimed infringement
Under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), send your notice to our designated agent:
Jacob Foscalina, Designated Copyright Agent
Iris Studio
1512 Greenbriar Ave, Corona, California 92878
(951) 545-0636
[email protected]
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for many works at one site, a representative list);
- the material you say infringes, and enough information for us to find it, such as its web address;
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We may send a copy of your notice, including your contact details, to the person who posted the material.
3. What we do
When we receive a valid notice about material we host, we remove or disable access to it promptly and tell the person who posted it.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you have the right to use it, send our agent a counter-notice with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the material that was removed and where it was before;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.
We forward it to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have started a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
We end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances. That includes Iris Cloud accounts used to make infringing websites, when we learn of it.
6. False claims
Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). Before you send a notice, consider whether the use could be fair use.
7. Trademarks and other complaints
For trademark complaints, impersonation or other abuse, see the Acceptable use policy or email [email protected].
