This website

buildwithiris.com sets no cookies. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it loads nothing from other websites: its fonts, pictures and scripts all come from buildwithiris.com itself.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is kept in your own browser's storage under the name iris-theme. It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

The Iris app

The Iris app at app.buildwithiris.com sets only cookies it needs to work. Each is first-party (sent only to the app), HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), Secure (sent only over an encrypted connection) and SameSite=Lax:

• __Host-iris_session keeps you signed in. It holds a random token (we keep only a hash of it) and ends 30 days after you sign in, after 14 days without use, or when you sign out.
• __Host-iris_stripe_connect is set only while you connect your Stripe account, so that only the browser that started connecting can finish it. It lasts 10 minutes.

The websites you make

Websites made with Iris set their own cookies only for what they do, such as a shopping bag or a signed-in customer. Iris's own visitor numbers use no cookies. If you add other services to your website, such as analytics or a chat window, they may set their own; your website's privacy page should list them.

No tracking, no ads

Neither this website nor the Iris app uses analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and neither shares anything about your visit with advertisers. Questions: [email protected].
